I'm on the i-Crafter blog today sharing a card I made using newly released Geometric Wreath. (Affiliate links used in this post; I appreciate your support!) I pulled out an older die set Folded Butterfly, 3D to add a bit more whimsy to this autumn thank you card. I love to use newspaper (and old books). So, I die cut the butterfly and leaves from old newspaper. Handy tip: when die cutting newspaper, layer scrap paper between the die AND your cutting plate (newspaper sandwiched in between) to avoid getting the ink on everything. (Ask me how I know..) In fact, I kept my scrap white paper leaves as well, layering the scrap white, newspaper, and green die cut leaves around the wreath frame. I really love how warm the colors are. Since the butterfly occupies so much space, I elected for a stamped sentiment from Thankful Sentiments (currently 50% off) instead of using the included die cut "Thank you".
