I created a set of projects using the newly released Be Merry Collection from Spellbinders Paper Arts (affiliate link). I'm loving all of the Christmas in July releases and this one is no exception. I adore the sweet snowmen from Friendly Snowmen and love how easily the Chill Bear dies can be used all year!

I used Chill Bear for two projects -- as the (intended) polar bear and as a brown bear. I was going to make a black bear as well, but that will come later. I lightly inked the background, layered torn paper for the snow drifts, and sprayed with white gloss spray. The sentiment, from Friendly Snowmen, was stamped with Encore metallic ink in Blue first and then again with Pink just at the base of the sentiment.
Do you recognize the children's book reference? I created this money envelope perfect for a child's birthday. I typed the front sentiment with my typewriter, adding several paper layers atop my kraft money envelope. The money envelope was super duper easy to create. Cut a piece of paper 6.5" x 8", scoring along the 8" side at 3" and 6". I used wet adhesive just at the edges to glue the money pocket down, seen
For my first snowman project, I created a mini card. I love wee cards--they are perfect tucked in a gift bag or under a package bow.
I inked a snowflake stencil from my stash onto my A2 sized card front using Broken China and Kitsch Flamingo oxide inks. A top to bottom strip of kraft with sentiment was added just off center and this sweet snow couple completed the final project.
