Welcome to the December challenge with Jaded Blossom. Our theme this month is Silver and Gold. So many different ideas began to swirl in my head, but the idea of a Chanukkah project stuck.
Silver and blue always make me think of Chanukkah, so I used a lovely shimmer silver cardstock for the stitched panel portion of the candy bar slider. I inked up each of the candles' flames with distress oxide ink (representing the "gold" if you will), very lightly the bottoms and left edge of the candles, and created this simple but elegant holiday treat.
