As promised, I have two fun projects with another newly released set from Kindred Stamps called Earth Day! This little robot is one of my favorites (in the whole universe) so I couldn't resist coloring up him and his little robot love. I used the plant-finding robot on a special Earth Day tag, adding the extra plant stamp onto her body. Rounded tag die is from Jaded Blossom. All images colored with Spectrum Noir TriBlends (older bullet nib).
For my second project, I created this adorable card with this lovable little guy. I used the Pixie Dust Slimline Stencil with Happily Ever After Glitter Gloss on a space background. I distressed the edges of the panel and lightly brushed the glitter gloss along the distressed edge for a bit of interest. For the Earth, I die cut a stitched circle from blue cardstock and then scribbled the land shapes with markers. I inked the perimeter with whatever black was left on my blending brush (obviously not much) to add a bit more depth. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock, adding the robot's cockroach friend in brown pigment ink. The earth is mounted with coaster blanks (eco-friendly alternative to foam tape) and then the sentiment is also mounted with coaster atop the Earth.
I added wee little details when coloring him -- like bolts on his eye pieces, buttons and a bit of yellow on the lower piece.
