Today I'm sharing my August release projects with Kindred Stamps (affiliate links used throughout when available; thank you!), using their soon to release set Family Can Be Scary. I created a collection of projects that I hope inspire you.

All characters were colored with OLO alcohol markers in the colors pictured above. I used colored pencils to add extra texture to their hair.
I created a trio of rosettes, using strips of paper 2" wide for the largest, 1.5" wide (as seen in my video tutorial (Prev Live) Tutorial: Quick and Easy Rosettes), and 1" for the smallest. Extra embellishments (bats, spider web, and spider) were die cut from ScrapDiva Designs dies.
Lots of fun paper layers and the coolest spooky grandpa. I used the Luggage Tag Die from Jaded Blossom.
I created masks for each of the family members to create the next card above. I stamped the images in grey and added the non-monster family member to the right. I love how this one turned out!
This fun fold card design is my new favorite. (I shared another card using this step card design previously on my blog You Sparkle Unicorn Fun Fold Cards.) It stands for displaying and folds flat for mailing in a standard A2 envelope.
My final project below only boasts the papers and dies, with the exception of the stamped sentiment. I toyed with adding a character to the left (and you could) but I wanted to share it as is. I only adhered the gate posts, leaving the middle portion unattached which creates awesome dimension.
