What an awesome final release for the year with Kindred Stamps. Today, I have a collection of projects using the new Girl Power stamp set and Heart Layers Stencil (both available on Friday, details below). As you can see, I had a lot of fun with bold reds and pinks on my projects.
I inked the stencil using Candied Apple, Spun Sugar, and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. The negatives for the layers are included.
I colored these sweet girls with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. They would be adorable with just flat color too since that's how many cartoon characters are colored (no shading).
I played with the eyes a bit on this one, but decided she was the only one that I would color like this. (lol) I found this jumbo chapstick at our local Dollar General.
Instead of inkblending within the Filmstrip Craft Die, I opted to use washi tape, selecting a roll of blue, pink, and green, respectively. I love how it turned out.
