Kindred Stamps Limited Edition Showtime Box

The latest and greatest Kindred Stamps (affiliate links used; thank you!) limited edition box release will be available tomorrow.  Eeep!  Showtime boasts 16 characters and an entire 4"x6" set of sentiments.  A rainbow of patterned papers -- dots and horizontal stripes -- along with a new curtain die are included.  I used the sequin mix for the shaker card as well as a trio of the included enamel dots.  The box also includes a pair of embossing powders; I used the green in the projects below.

Supplies used:
Showtime Box (releasing tomorrow)
Card Builder Basics Dies
Sentiment Strip Dies

When you purchase the box, you will receive access to coloring videos from the Creative Team.  The characters seen above are the four that I have recorded coloring with Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers -- cool rat, sipping frog, and the pair of scientists.

I used an old frozen pizza box to die cut the pizza images.  I thought it would be fun to give these two projects an 80s-90s vibe.  I love the mixture of prints, grounded with enough white to keep it from being too busy.  How adorable would these be for a kid?!  Especially sent with a gift card for pizza or a pizza itself!

To create the shaker window, I layered 4 die cuts from heavy weight paper behind the blue striped front instead of using foam adhesive for the shaker.  This allowed me to create a very solid shaker window and frame.  Naturally, I added googly eyes to the orange-haired scientist.  A flap at the top and sentiment flag at the bottom helped break up the larger colored areas.

And, last but not least, the cutest little froggy with his tea.  I love the detail on the curtain die as well!  For the spotlight, I inked the largest stitched rectangle panel from .. with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink where sweet froggy would sit, then inked toward the spotlight with Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.  I used the same red for the curtains as I did for the back panel.  The curtains were mounted with scrap cardboard and the center drape with a double layer to give the card just enough dimension without making it too bulky.
