Today is the final day of sneak peeks for the May release with Kindred Stamps. I created a few projects using Patriotic Pals and the new Stars and Stripes Stencil. I've included directions in pictures for creating the mini album below.

To create these rustic Americana feel backgrounds, I inked the new Stars and Stripes Stencil with Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Ink. I laid my card panel atop a rubber embossing mat on my die cutting platform, spritzed with water, and added the stencil, ink side down. I completed the sandwich to dry emboss in my die cutting machine. After wiping down the stencil (and die cutting plates), I aligned the stencil atop the the now ink embossed background and, using a small blending brush, inked the stripes and stars (on the one). Using the Stampin Up dies, I cut sentiment panels and the vellum starburst and embossed the sentiment and layered. The gold mirror stars are cut from the Card Builder Basics Dies. The additional white clay stars are from Star Spangled Sprinkletz.
For my final project, I created a mini flip album following tutorial (and actual amazing album) by Tina Fry. You can find Tina's blog HERE where she shares all sorts of amazing designs and templates.
There are 3 total flip open pages with front vellum pockets. Follow the photos below for a brief overview of how to create these mini albums yourself. I embellished the album with stitched stars from Card Builder Basics Dies, leaving many elements and colored, cut images from the stamp set, and more wee stars from Star Spangled Sprinkletz.
The pages could be assembled any number of ways. I decided to add a vellum pocket to the front of my pages. The flap is tucked inside the pocket and one of the open ends is glued to the spine tab and the tab for the flip page is adhered on the opposite open side of the page.
