Neighborhood Friends Limited Edition Kit

The next Kindred Stamps limited edition kit release -- Neighborhood Friends -- will be available tomorrow, Friday, July 29th at 11am EST/8am PST.  I've created a fun collection of projects using the various kit contents.

I colored the images with Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers and only used papers and dies included in the kit.  The only exception is the tulle I used to create the two shaker cards and the googly eyes on the ATC-sized lunchbox notes.

I marked the upper corners of the cookie layering stencil to make lining them up easier.  I inked the cookie layer with Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink (Amazon affl) and then added the chocolate chips with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink (Amazon affl).

I love making tulle shakers -- they are so easy to make.  I cut a piece of tulle just larger than my inked cookie panel, adding double-sided tape around the back perimeter, then wrapped the tulle around 3 sides.  I added some of the shaker mix into the 4th open side then closed up the final tulle side.  Done!

I created a smaller shaker panel on this ATC sized, top-folding card.  The card measures 2.5" x 7", folded in half to create the 2.5" x 3.5" size.  I used my Mini Envelope Punch Board (Amazon affl) to create the envelope (using the recommendation for a card sized 3" x 4" on the punch board).

I created another ATC-sized envelope and a trio of ATCs using the papers.  I wanted to create quick lunchbox notes and thought stamping these characters onto colored paper would do the trick; I just added googly eyes to give them a bit more character.

My final card features the new neighborhood street die and one of my favorite grumpy dudes that lives in a garbage can.  I lined the backs of the buildings with the patterned paper as well.

I hope you've enjoyed my fun-loving collection!  Which project is your favorite?  Don't forget to grab the Neighborhood Friends Limited Kit this Friday, July 28th!
