Happy Hump Day!! I wanted to share a quick card using a leftover piece of Deco Foil that some may garbage (not this girl!). I have a small collection of previously used foil with the original foiled images missing, like the stars in the piece used on this card. The stars were foiled for my Arabian Princess card, but this leftover bit was perfect for this card!
I had colored the adorable astronaut and cat-stronaut (giggle) during the last The Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge. The images and sentiment are from the super cute Craftin' Desert Divas digital stamp set called Space Cadet. There are several more images and another sentiment in the set. (And you can't beat the $5 price tag.)
Since I was using the gold foiled background, I wanted something behind it to make the stars twinkle. I knew I either wanted a glitter or holographic cardstock, and happily settled upon the latter. The stars truly twinkle when you move the card. So, it was merely just gluing it all together! The sentiment is flat, but the astronaut and cat are mounted on foam tape. NOTE: I accidentally added some scratches to the foil when using a bone folder to adhere the foil to the card front. Next time I will put a piece of scrap paper on top and then flatten to avoid that. I don't think it completely ruins the card, but I have learned my lesson.
