This month at 7 Kids, we are featuring all things flowers! I snapped up this adorable Stamping Bella Teeny Tiny Townie with a bouquet during the monthly flower sale (20% off all items in the featured category using code "FLOWERS"). I used the spotlight technique (on a very broad scale) by coloring only the portion of the image on the bookmark. When you slide the bookmark out (it is held on the card front by the pink chipboard frame), the black and white image is fully displayed. I didn't want to leave the card front empty once the bonus "gift with card" was removed, so I added the stitched "hello lovely" sentiment from Neat & Tangled to the card front as well as the bookmark's tab. I stamped stitched hearts all over the card front in colors used in the image, adding a single purple heart under the bookmark's flap--the perfect place to add a sweet note to the recipient.
I watercolored the bookmark using my Arteza Real Brush Pens and stamped the hearts using Catherine Pooler inks.
